Diversity Equity and Inclusion: Gerontology & Geriatrics Education is committed to advancing the Gerontological Society of America journals’ pledge to encourage and support “cutting-edge, conceptually driven work that addresses and aims to overcome inequity in health, mental health, social status, and justice in later life, particularly those well-documented inequities arising from age, socioeconomic status, racial, ethnic, sex, and gender bias and discrimination, geography, and intersections among them” (Meeks et al., 2021, p. 455) . Peer Review Policy: All research articles in this journal undergo rigorous double-anonymized peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous refereeing by two peers.
