Biological Bulletin

期刊简介：The Biological Bulletin disseminates novel scientific results in broadly related fields of biology in keeping with more than 100 years of a tradition of excellence. The Bulletin publishes outstanding original research with an overarching goal of explaining how organisms develop, function, and evolve in their natural environments. To that end, the journal publishes papers in the fields of Neurobiology and Behavior, Physiology and Biomechanics, Ecology and Evolution, Development and Reproduction, Cell Biology, Symbiosis and Systematics. The Bulletin emphasizes basic research on marine model systems but includes articles of an interdisciplinary nature when appropriate.

【译文】生物通报传播生物学广泛相关领域的创新科学成果，秉承了100多年卓越传统的精神。该通报发表杰出的原创研究，总体目标是解释生物在其自然环境中如何发育、功能和进化。为此，该期刊发表神经生物学和行为、生理学和生物力学、生态学和进化、发育和繁殖、细胞生物学、共生和系统学等领域的论文。通报强调对海洋模型系统的基础研究，但在适当的时候也包括跨学科的文章。
