Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy

期刊简介：Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy is the official research journal of the Association for Physical Education (afPE). The journal provides a forum for high quality educational research intended to have a high impact on both policy and practice for a national and international readership. Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy publishes research that reports educational practices across a wide range of settings, from school physical education to club sport and active leisure programs. We welcome papers that examine pedagogy within a diverse range of movement cultures including aquatics, dance, exercise, gymnastics, outdoor and adventure activities, meditative and martial arts, general physical activity, and sport. Pedagogy refers to the dynamic and interdependent relationships between knowledge and curriculum, learners and learning, and teachers/coaches and their practice (teaching or coaching) in movement cultures. The journal is especially interested in papers that consider and explore how these elements interact in real-world contexts. Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy accepts original research articles reporting on primary research, literature reviews, research syntheses, theoretical or conceptual papers, and by invitation only scholar lectures and conference keynotes. Peer Review Policy: All research articles published in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and double-anonymous refereeing by at least two independent referees. The journal reserves the right to reject submissions after editorial screening should the submission not meet certain minimum requirements to be sent for external review. Any paper involving any of the editors or associate editors as authors undergoes the same rigorous peer review process, with the relevant editors or associate editors recused from this process.
