期刊简介：Applied Mathematics and Mechanics is the English version of a journal on applied mathematics and mechanics published in the People's Republic of China. Our Editorial Committee, headed by Professor Chien Weizang, Ph.D., President of Shanghai University, consists of scientists in the fields of applied mathematics and mechanics from all over China.Founded by Professor Chien Weizang in 1980, Applied Mathematics and Mechanics became a bimonthly in 1981 and then a monthly in 1985. It is a comprehensive journal presenting original research papers on mechanics, mathematical methods and modeling in mechanics as well as applied mathematics relevant to neoteric mechanics.

【译文】《应用数学和力学》是中国出版的应用数学和力学期刊的英文版。我们的编辑委员会由上海大学校长、博士陈伟章教授领导，成员来自中国各地的应用数学和力学领域的科学家。由陈伟章教授于1980年创办，《应用数学和力学》在1981年成为双月刊，然后在1985年变为月刊。这是一本综合性的期刊，展示了关于力学、力学中的数学方法和建模以及与近代力学相关的应用数学的原创研究论文。
