Journal of Contemporary East Asia Studies

期刊简介：Journal of Contemporary East Asia Studies is an open-access journal offering in-depth studies of contemporary East Asia. It is the official journal of the Waseda Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies, based at Waseda University in Japan. The primary aim of the journal is to foster diverse perspectives on the major sub-areas of contemporary East Asia (including Northeast and Southeast Asia) through the publication of both local and international authors. Journal of Contemporary East Asia Studies publishes research that covers political, economic, and social developments in contemporary East Asia including but not limited to: Domestic politics throughout East Asia International relations, foreign policy, and trade between Southeast Asia and the United States Comparative analysis of economic development paths between Northeast and South Asia Migration from Southeast Asia to the Middle East Climate change and environmental policy in the Asia-Pacific Region China and India as major powers in Asia The journal publishes original research articles and operates a single-anonymized peer-review policy.
