Stress and Health

期刊简介：Stress is a normal component of life and a number of mechanisms exist to cope with its effects. The stresses that challenge man"s existence in our modern society may result in failure of these coping mechanisms, with resultant stress-induced illness. The aim of the journal therefore is to provide a forum for discussion of all aspects of stress which affect the individual in both health and disease.The Journal explores the subject from as many aspects as possible, so that when stress becomes a consideration, health information can be presented as to the best ways by which to minimise its effects.

【译文】压力是生活的一个正常组成部分，存在多种机制来应对其影响。在我们这个现代社会中，挑战人类存在的压力可能会导致这些应对机制的失败，从而引发压力引起的疾病。因此，该期刊的目的是提供一个讨论所有影响个体健康和疾病的压力方面的论坛。该期刊尽可能从多个角度探讨这个主题，以便当压力成为考虑因素时，可以提供有关最大限度地减少其影响的最佳健康信息。
