期刊简介:Women & Criminal Justice is now listed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index Women & Criminal Justice is a peer reviewed journal that is published six times per year. Women & Criminal Justice invites articles that critically examine the issues of crime, victimization and the criminal justice system as they pertain to differences among females and males, or as they pertain to the social and cultural construction of gender. Research papers that utilize qualitative and quantitative data analysis are welcomed, as are empirical papers that relate to global concerns for women as victims, offenders or practitioners in the field of criminal justice. The journal is committed to feminist scholarship that contributes to our understanding of female offenders, victims and practitioners, and especially is interested in analyses of the intersections of race, ethnicity, and/or class with gender. Such integrative approaches will contribute to theory and policy analysis in order to improve domestic and international responses to crime and victimization involving women and girls. The journal is abstracted/ indexed in:De Gruyter Saur, EBSCOhost, Elsevier BV, Emerging Sources Citation, E-psyche, Gale, National Criminal Justice Reference Service, National Library of Medicine, Sociological Abstracts (Online), Periodica Islamica, ProQuest, Taylor & Francis, Thomson Reuters and University of Wisconsin at Madison – Women’s Studies Librarian. Peer Review Policy: Women & Criminal Justice employs a double-anonymized peer review process. Upon submission, manuscripts will be screened to determine goodness of it to the journal’s aims and scope and to ensure that the manuscript is complete and ready to be reviewed. If manuscripts are given a revise and resubmit status, then there is an editorial screening and a second review by a peer reviewer(s). If a manuscript is given a qualified acceptance (accept with minor changes), then there is editorial screening to ensure that the changes were made before acceptance.
