EPJ Techniques and Instrumentation is a fully open-access single-blind peer-reviewed journal primarily focusing on advances in experimental and computational methods and techniques in all areas of fundamental and applied physics. Offers detailed descriptions of equipment, methods, protocols, techniques and related hardware/software. Highlights progress in data science, computational techniques, machine learning and theoretical modelling in combination with instrumentation. Focuses on novel custom instrumentation as well as innovative refinements to established set-ups. Serves as an outlet for the assessment and validation to produce well-documented and reproducible research.
