Population Ecology

期刊简介：Population Ecology, formerly known as Researches on Population Ecology launched in Dec 1952, is the official journal of the Society of Population Ecology. Population Ecology publishes original research articles and reviews (including invited reviews) on various aspects of population ecology, from the individual to the community level. Among the specific fields included are population dynamics and distribution, evolutionary ecology, ecological genetics, theoretical models, conservation biology, agroecosystem studies, and bioresource management. Manuscripts should contain new results of empirical and/or theoretical investigations concerning facts, patterns, processes, mechanisms or concepts of population ecology; those purely descriptive in nature are not suitable for this journal. All manuscripts are reviewed anonymously by two or more referees, and the final editorial decision is made by the Chief Editor or an Associate Editor based on the referees' evaluations.

【译文】人口生态学，原名《人口生态学研究》，创刊于1952年12月，是人口生态学会的官方期刊。人口生态学发表关于个体到群落水平的人口生态学各个方面的原创研究文章和综述（包括邀请综述）。包括的具体领域有：种群动态和分布、进化生态学、生态遗传学、理论模型、保护生物学、农业生态系统研究和生物资源管理。稿件应包含关于人口生态学的事实、模式、过程、机制或概念的实证和/或理论调查的新结果；纯描述性的稿件不适合本期刊。所有稿件均由两位或更多审稿人匿名审阅，最终编辑决定由主编或副主编根据审稿人的评估做出。
