期刊简介：Science & Technology Libraries is a peer-reviewed, scholarly journal dedicated to librarianship in science, engineering, health, and agriculture. Our content primarily consists of original research articles and reports on best practices that further the understanding of information resources and services in these subject areas. Science & Technology Libraries addresses issues of everyday importance, including but not limited to: Descriptions and analyses of the emerging information needs of science and technology library users The education of science and technology library users Comparison of features, coverage, and costs of new information products Examination of the accuracy and quality control of scientific information resources and publications Institutional repositories and digital scholarship that support the sciences The impact of online education on science libraries and their electronic resources The professional training of science librarians Examination of the scholarly communications environment within the scientific information industry including Open Science Studies of science and technology libraries within their parent organizations and in cooperation with other organizations. Additionally, each issue may also include: Profiles in Science -- Surveys of the life, times, career and publication patterns of a distinguished scientist, engineer, health professional, or agricultural expert Reviews of Science for Science Librarians -- Extensive overviews of developments in science, engineering, health, or agriculture relevant to libraries and librarians. We will consider bibliometrics articles that show direct utility to libraries and librarians. Book Reviews – Signed reviews of books that assist science and technology librarians with collection development, researcher, and teacher support.
