Japan Forum

期刊简介：Japan Forum, the leading European journal in the multidisciplinary field of Japanese Studies, publishes original research in subject areas ranging from archaeology, language, literature, philosophy and culture to history, economics, politics, international relations and law. Submissions from younger researchers as well as from established scholars are welcome, as are submissions which cross disciplinary boundaries or do not otherwise match the subject areas listed above. In addition to full-length original articles, Japan Forum publishes Perspectives essays. At up to 3,500 words, Perspectives offers a flexible format for developing ideas, think pieces, translations with commentary, research notes, methodological reflections, and responses to existing scholarship. The series is open to scholars at all career stages and provides a supportive venue for innovative and exploratory work. Peer Review Statement All original articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and double-anonymised refereeing by two independent reviewers. Short Articles undergo expedited evaluation by a single reviewer.
