期刊简介：Each issue of the Journal of Family Social Work contains peer reviewed research articles, conceptual and practice articles devoted to innovative family theory and practice subjects. In celebrating social workers’ tradition of working with couples and families in their life context, the Journal of Family Social Work features articles which advance the capacity of practitioners to integrate research, theory building, and practice wisdom into their services to families. It is a journal of policy, clinical practice, and research directed to the needs of social workers and other mental health and family practitioners who work with couples and families. The Journal of Family Social Work makes a unique attempt at balancing clinical relevance and academic exactitude. By uniting clinicians and researchers from social work, family enrichment, family therapy, family studies, family psychology and sociology, health and mental health, and child welfare, it stresses a blending of sociocultural contexts, the uniqueness of the family, and the person of the clinician. As an interdisciplinary forum, it provides a creative mixing of clinical innovation, practice wisdom, theory, and academic excellence. Peer Review Policy : All articles in this journal have undergone rigorous anonymous double anonymized peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous refereeing by two to four anonymous referees.
