Reviews in Anthropology

期刊简介：Reviews in Anthropology is a journal devoted to reviews of recently published books and anthropological research. The journal has expanded its scope to include reviews of books published outside of the global North and in languages other than English. It welcomes both short, focused reviews of a single book or publication and longer contributions that are in-depth, thematic reviews covering more than one book –works in which combinations can illuminate particular theoretical perspectives, concepts, or regions. In addition to reviews, the journal now accepts critical essays, understood as interpretive scholarly compositions that have not been previously published. These essays may offer reflective or theoretically engaged interventions into contemporary debates, intellectual lineages, or emerging problematics in anthropology and related fields. There are also possibilities for special issues focused on specific topics or cultural regions. Suggestions for thematic issues should be submitted to the Co-Editors for consideration.
