期刊简介：The Open Access Journal of Sports Medicine is an international, peer-reviewed journal that welcomes high-quality submissions in one of the four sections highlighted below. The Journal will consider quantitative and qualitative research papers, as well as meta-analytic and systematic reviews. The Journal also publishes commentaries and letters to the editor. The Journal appeals to a wide array of scientists and practitioners in fields as diverse as sports medicine, sports and exercise science, physical therapy, athletic training, and kinesiology. The Journal particularly welcomes research based on solid concepts that provides insights relevant to a range of sports, and even other disciplines. The journal considers descriptive work provided it has impact and novelty. Papers that promote new methods and measures are encouraged. Biomechanics This section publishes articles associated with the biomechanics of human health and performance. The journal specifically welcomes papers that focus on sports techniques, musculoskeletal and neuromuscular function, modelling and the use of data analytics and technology, including AI and ML. Injury and Rehabilitation This section publishes articles focusing on injury, including the risks associated with sport and exercise, as well as strategies that aim to facilitate prevention, recovery, and rehabilitation from injury. We consider research that involves both clinical and performance objectives. Physiology and Nutrition This section publishes research associated with the physiological principles of exercise and sport, including cellular and molecular biology, human genetics, epigenetics, and kinanthropometry. We publish research that investigates nutrition and its impact on health and human performance. Psychology This section publishes research focusing on the psychology of sport and exercise related to heath and performance. We publish papers on all aspects of psychology connected to sport and exercise, including areas like motor control and learning, motor behaviour, neuroscience, and expert performance.
