Journal of Functional Biomaterials

期刊简介：The Journal of Functional Biomaterials (JFB, ISSN 2079-4983) is an international and interdisciplinary scientific journal that publishes regular research papers (articles), reviews, and communications about applications of materials for biomedical use. This specific research field is the result of collaborations between different disciplines: chemistry, medicine, pharmacology, engineering, and biology. The objective of this collaboration is to lead to the implementation of new devices to restore form and human body functions. The mission of JFB is to focus the attention on physicochemical characteristics and their importance in the interactions between biomaterials and living tissues as well as studies on the preparation, performance, and use of biomaterials in biomedical devices in physiological environments. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their results in as much detail as possible.
