Local Government Studies

期刊简介：Local Government Studies is the leading journal for the study of local politics, policy, public administration and management and governance. First established in 1975, it is an influential forum for critical dialogue and exchange on local government and a vital resource for academics, politicians, policy makers and practitioners internationally. The editors welcome submissions in this field, particularly work of a comparative, methodologically innovative and theoretically challenging nature. Please note that we only consider papers that address issues of local government, and do not publish articles that focus on regional, state or provincial levels of governance. We also expect manuscripts to engage with current topics and debates within the journal, and ask authors to explain how their paper fits within LGS 's aims and scope when submitting papers. Additionally, please be aware that LGS adheres to Taylor and Francis' policy on the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools.
